Lynn Tocker
Lynn has been playing accordion since childhood, and achieved worlwide recognition for her ability not only to play but to compose by the time she was 14 yrs old. Her compositions can be heard in sessions throughout the country, notably her haunting slow air “Floating from Skerry” which was first recorded on Kathryn Tickells first album.
One of the original members of the Kathryn Tickell Band, Lynn has the respect of accordion players all over, including the great Phil Cunningham, not only due to her amazing technical ability but also due to the sensitivity of her playing.
She has been recognized as the influence of many of todays young accordion players and continues to dazzle at a time many see as being the peak of her playing to date.
