August 2008:

Special mention must be made of another fantastic night at Fyvie.

We’d like to thank Ramsay, & Bernie, George & Stuart “Guitar Player“ Powrie and everyone else who was there on the night once again for another brilliant evening.

We were made so welcome again, and there are few places we can say we enjoy playing at so much.

Also, special thanks to Roddy for his hospitality, which was very much appreciated, and his kindness and generosity was second to none.

Our friends Chuck & Pat who were over from Florida were overwhelmed by  the kindness of everyone there and it was without doubt a night to remember.

August 2008:

Another one of our favourite places is the Dunure Festival.

We had yet another great weekend there, caught up with old friends and enjoyed some great music.  One of the highlights, and probably one of the best nights in the young festivals history, was Tich Frier on the Saturday who had a crowded audience in stitches with laughter.    A great folk artist.

So thanks to Paul, a close friend, for having us back there again, and to Iain Morrison for slotting in as a 4th member and playing with us over the weekend.  Also, thanks to Iain and Carol, and again all the staff at the Dunure Inn for their hospitality , especially Davie who always looks after us when we are there..

Irvine Marymass 2008:

We were pleased to be invited back to Irvine (thanks Joyce) where once again we had another great weekend.   We especially enjoyed playing at the bandstand on the Friday afternoon, and it was good to see Michael and Rebecca there too.

Thanks to Pete Clark for playing with us over the weekend, a fine player and good company.

It was also great to see some old faces such as the Buskers, Doris, Fil, Johnny Silvo, and of course all of the Irvine Crowd, who it is always a pleasure to see.
Our thoughts are with Joyce at this time.
